Ford recently released a new pickup truck Maverick, which has not only greatly improved its performance, but also left many 3D Printing enthusiasts with surprises.

Due to the truck’s affordable price and many simple features, Ford Maverick in 2022 has won a lot of attention for automakers. You can see a large number of creative uses is the Ford Integrated Tether System, or FITS for short, which is designed to allow car owners to install a large number of accessories in the truck.

But Ford went a step further with FITS, allowing car owners to 3D print their own accessories for pickup trucks. Ford is working to publicly release the FITS slot geometry for open source consumption, allowing car owners to create and print their own accessories, not just those provided by Ford. Available accessory packages already include cup holders, storage bins or trash cans, rope organizers, double hooks for hanging bags, and storage partitions under the seats. Ford is developing more good things. It is located at the rear of the center console. The automaker said that owners can store accessories under the rear seats.
